The staff, especially Vineeth and Deepu, made our stay memorable. They patiently answered all our questions and helped us figure out local spots, timings, what to do, and where to go. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. Their warmth made a huge difference. Hotel Beach Florra Inn is right in front of the beach, so we could hear the waves from our room and wake up to them every morning. The nearby lighthouse adds a charming touch. Our room was clean and well maintained, with no complaints there. That combination of a great location and helpful staff really sets the place apart.

We were a family of five and had a lovely stay at this cute hotel last week. It’s close to the beach and a bargain, with considerate, helpful management and staff. The beach road ends some 200M from Flora, but when we arrived at midnight, a staff member walked all the way out to help us. A few days after we left, another staff member brought the shoes I’d forgotten there to the main road and delivered them to our car. Amazing service from the staff and management. The only inconvenience was parking, which is about 200 meters away, but the staff helped with our luggage so it was manageable. Hotel Beach Flora is a good, comfortable option in Kovalam, close to the beach and light house. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the courteous, helpful staff made for a pleasant stay.

The room wasn’t the one we booked and seemed poorly maintained. There was a bad odor, dirty, stinking towels, poor bed linen, and below-average cleanliness. Basic items were missing too: hand towels, toilet paper, a water bottle, and a tea/kettle setup. Although the property is marked non-smoking, guests were smoking inside, which made the environment uncomfortable. Staff and management were unresponsive and didn’t take responsibility for fixing the problems. This place falls short on basic quality, hygiene, and hospitality, and isn’t suitable for families. It doesn’t justify its price or description and needs serious improvement in cleanliness, maintenance, and guest handling.

The beach is very close, which could make this convenient for older guests, and the rooms were neat and clean. But we booked for the beach view and were moved to "marina guest house" next door, where you can't see the beach from the room. We had to go over to the restaurant side for the view. Service was poor: there was nobody at reception, and after we asked, they brought just one water bottle for the room. There were no blankets or bed sheets, and the food was average. Apart from the view, the experience felt very average as a tourist.
