It's close to shops, Arya Ayurveda, and the sea, and it's very quiet at night. The upper rooms are beautiful, though we stayed downstairs in a smaller, very cosy one. It has a homestay feel with professional service. For the first time in all my years coming to Kovalam, I found somewhere I could wash my long curly hair after oil treatments: the hot water really is hot, it's available 24h, and there's enough volume to rinse quickly and properly. Sangeeth is a beautiful soul. I don't think they do much marketing, as people seem to discover the place by accident or through friends, the way we did. A friend has stayed here for many years. Top!

I made a serious mistake booking this family room for one night for a friend who wasn't used to travelling much. The resort had no name plate, so he had trouble finding it and was taken to a different location. He had to carry his luggage because the road wasn't motorable. The so-called family room was quite small, there was no hot water, and there weren't any restaurants nearby. The owner painted a rosy picture online and promised me a memorable stay. Yes, memorable indeed.

Our homestay in Kovalam was child friendly and great value for money. It has a cosy little garden and an ideal spot on Lighthouse Beach.

They lied about the place they provided, and it was very, very dirty. There was no care or service, and they only love money. We were 4 guests and got 2 pillows. Very bad, and it didn't feel safe. Everybody, be careful and don't lose your money by going there.

The hot water for bathing wasn't proper, and the experience was the worst. This isn't Sangeetha beach resort, it's Adam beach resort. Don't waste your money, go to another hotel. It's the worst resort, I wouldn't give it a star.
