The Leela Kovalam, a Raviz Hotel

Susmita and Chef Sommad made our stay at The Leela Kovalam feel especially thoughtful. Susmita looked after us with real care, and Chef Sommad prepared a high-protein breakfast for us each day when we asked. We appreciated that extra effort. The hotel itself is beautiful, with excellent facilities in a calm, spacious natural setting. Everything seemed well maintained. A lovely place with great service.

The staff were friendly and clearly worked hard to keep everything spotless. We enjoyed the walk to Tide restaurant, and the hotel’s decor brought in details from local traditions. Our room was well equipped, with fresh supplies and a fruit basket. The firm bed made for a great night’s sleep. There was a good breakfast selection at two restaurants, while lunch offered lots of local and international flavors. The pool and fitness facilities were well maintained too. The whole stay, from the atmosphere to the room arrangements, felt truly five star.

We came away with lovely memories of The Leela Kovalam, one of the highlights of our Kerala trip. From the cliff-top setting, the Arabian Sea views stretch out in every direction, especially at sunrise and sunset. The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and blends in well with nature. Our room was roomy, clean, and comfortable, and the service stayed excellent throughout. Everyone we met was warm, polite, and ready to help. The relaxed atmosphere made it a great getaway. A memorable stay for anyone after luxury, sea views, and welcoming service.

We loved being able to swim in the Arabian Sea just steps from Tides Restaurant, as well as relax beside the infinity pool with the ocean in view. The hotel also has a second pool. Meals were another highlight, with authentic Kerala flavors alongside international dishes. Parineeta took great care of us at Tides Restaurant, and the dining staff were friendly and attentive. Asha, the Concierge Manager, was especially kind when my wife came down with a cold and cough. She connected us with a doctor and also found authentic Ayurvedic medicine prepared at the property to soothe her symptoms. Her concern gave us real peace of mind. The Leela Kovalam sits on a cliff above the sea, and the views are beautiful throughout the property. Our spacious, spotless room had a calming design and lovely sea views. We appreciated the well-kept details and the glass bottles of water, which reduced plastic use. Even though we arrived before the usual check-in time, the staff quickly showed us to our room. We were welcomed in traditional Kerala style with a seashell garland and a tikka on our foreheads, then offered fresh coconut water straight from the shell while check-in was handled. It was a warm start to a stay made special by the location and heartfelt hospitality.
