Abirami inn

There were spit marks in the room and glasses that looked like they’d been used for drinking. The bed covers seemed unwashed, the bathroom was tiny and dirty, and the TV didn’t work. The people at the desk were unfriendly. A really bad, unhygienic experience, not fit for animals.

We spent two days here, and the rooms and washroom were clean. The main Kumbhakonam bus stand is very close, with plenty of restaurants nearby where the food is tasty. The staff were good too.

The smell outside was really bad. They didn't provide even a bottle of water, and there was no soap, shampoo, or towel.

Getting sleep was hard with bus horns going off all night. I also kept smelling cigarette smoke through the day, though I couldn't tell where it was coming from. They wouldn't take GPay or a credit card and insisted on cash. The building is right at the main bus stop.
