Arun Residency by OYO Rooms

We had a happy stay in a clean, well-kept suite, and the bathroom was clean too. The staff were good in both their service and attitude. There is parking, though it’s on the next street; we were also able to leave our car by the roadside without any trouble.

It’s safe for families, and the staff are friendly. There’s a non-veg restaurant on the ground floor, while across the road there’s a nice veg restaurant if that’s what you prefer. Food, shopping, and temples are all within walking distance.

The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the service runs all day and night. There was hot water in the room anytime. Everything was awesome. With an OYO booking, the stay runs from 12 pm until 11 am the next day. They charge 200/- for each extra hour, which is a bit costly for that room.

We paid for a booking through OYO, but when we arrived with the kids, the man at reception said the hotel hadn’t received the payment. After a lot of arguing, he said their agreement with OYO was only for two months and that the hotel wouldn’t receive what customers paid through OYO. He asked us to pay again for a new booking. The staff behaved terribly, and I consider this a complete fraud. I’d never recommend this hotel. I still haven’t got my money back. There’s no Arun Residency contact number that I could find on Google, only OYO customer care. When we tried to connect to the hotel, the call mostly disconnected automatically. I have proof of the payment. We booked somewhere else because we had no time to keep arguing with these people. You also can’t change the check-in time. Never book here. They don’t care about customers.
