Renest Kumbhalgarh Resort LLP

Renest’s scenic location is extremely good, and our stay was decent overall. The rooms are big and luxurious, though we noticed water clogging in the bathroom. Food was tasty and decent, but the spread could have been better. Service needs to improve. We heard management had just changed, with the owner taking control only two days earlier and the Renest team out, so that could have caused some issues. Rooms: 5/5, food: 4/5, service: 3/5.

Bring your own vehicle if you can, since local sightseeing taxis are very expensive. Kumbhalgarh fort is only 5 km from the hotel. The rooms are spacious, excellent, and have all the amenities; the food is outstanding. There aren’t any restaurants nearby, so booking breakfast and dinner is a good idea. The staff were pleasant, and the receptionist was especially kind. Overall, a very good experience.

A good place to get away from routine and find some isolation. Management and staff were supportive and cooperative with big and small requests. The pool was well maintained, but there were very few indoor games. Food quality was average.

The big swimming pool and the indoor games were both nice, and the reception lady always greeted us with a pleasant, charming gesture. We booked through the Agoda app for two nights. The location was really good and the hospitality was up to mark. They keep vegetarian and non-vegetarian kitchens separate, and use separate utensils too. They take special care with Pure Jain Food and customize some items on request. Staff were cooperative. Power cuts happen frequently, apparently due to the Rajasthan government electricity board. One suggestion for the hotel: provide a bucket and stool in the bathroom for elderly guests. Overall, a very good experience.
