The clean, neat ambience and low price make this one of the best value homestays in Thekkady. It's 1km from the bus stand and city centre, with no shops nearby, though autos come by frequently.

Rooms were clean and neat, and the ambience was great. Service was good too. Parking wasn't very convenient.

The rooms are much larger than the ones we saw at other homestays, and the prices are reasonable. Host Raju also gave our group complimentary tea. Hot water is available, but the internet didn't always work in the room. It's right on the highway into Thekkady's main town, so there's a lot of traffic noise. Avoid it if that bothers you. The bedding and dated room interiors need refreshing.

There were big communication gaps because of the language problem, but the owner took risks on his side to make us comfortable. He was very friendly and innocent. The prices quoted were reasonable, the rooms were well maintained, and I definitely recommend this homestay.

Parking is available, and the service was good and welcoming. We paid 2600₹ for one night, 1000 for the large room and 800 each for the other two, which was really economical. Check in is at 2pm and check out at 12pm. There are three clean, tidy rooms, each with an attached bathroom, a balcony overlooking the road, and a television. One room is more spacious than the other two. Loved our stay.
