Monsoon Retreats

On May 2, 2026, we had a great stay, with friendly staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The Manager was especially supportive throughout our visit and stayed attentive right up to checkout. He helped us plan our itinerary, book nearby attractions, and sort out local amenities. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and well maintained, the bathrooms were spotless, and the room boy was proactive and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with quality options. Dinner isn’t prepared at the property, but staff were happy to help us order from outside restaurants. A really well-managed, friendly place with top-tier service. I’d recommend it.

The villas were cozy and super comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Rajesh made the whole stay incredible, helping arrange activities around Thekkady, from elephant rides and Periyar tiger reserve visits to off-roading, trekking, and more. Loved it and would definitely return for more memories.

Rajesh ji was friendly and supportive, and went out of his way to get us everything we needed. The room had a stunning view through its three glass panels, with greenery all around. It felt like being in a forest, but with the amenities of a 5 star hotel. One of the best properties I’ve stayed in Kerala, and absolute value for money.

The quiet surroundings made our stay at Monsoon Resort Thakery so relaxing. Our rooms were spotless, the staff were warm and attentive, and the food was delicious. Thoughtful service made the visit special. We’d gladly come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the beautiful Thekkady area.
