OYO 4215 Spice Valley

They didn’t even serve the breakfast included in our package. When we asked, a staff member said they had simply put it on the website. The staff were careless and not helpful, and the service we got was truly awful. They should take “Luxurious” out of the hotel’s name. I wouldn’t consider staying here with family.

It’s a decent budget hotel, with helpful, well-mannered staff. The rooms are a little small, but have the basic amenities and are self-sufficient. The downside is the distance from the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary pickup point.

The rooms are spacious and tidy, and the property is well kept, though it isn’t very large. It’s outside Kumily, and the staff are courteous. Order food a bit early, since it can take some time.

The rooms are very small, and the property itself is small too. We waited an hour for dinner and got very poor service. In the morning they first refused to bring bed tea, then served it after half an hour when I insisted. I wouldn’t recommend it.
