Woodside Residency Thekkady

Our stay left us very upset, and the whole trip felt spoiled. We were a family of three, but only two breakfasts were provided, and then they asked us to pay separately for the third. Our tour manager had already paid everything. The waiter and the woman at reception argued with us rudely out on the street, and even the waiters swear and fight with guests here. The staff seemed to have no manners when dealing with tourists from other states, even though they depend on tourists. The facilities were very bad too. We regret spending money here. This was one of the dirtiest, worst experiences of my life, and I won't recommend this hotel to anyone. There are many good, cheaper hotels nearby, so please look around and book somewhere else. A sincere request: don't go to this place.

The location right in the city centre made it easy to get around, and this was one of the more affordable places nearby, good value for money. We found the room neat and clean, with a pleasant atmosphere, and the super friendly, attentive staff made us feel welcome. We didn't eat at the hotel, but had a good breakfast across the road. I'd highly recommend it for a comfortable, affordable stay in Thekkady.

We were a group of 14 and enjoyed our stay. Shibhu sir and shaje sir were nice, and everyone on the staff was friendly. The hotel is in a nice location, close to sightseeing, kathakali, and other activities. The food was good too. Please visit, book a room, and enjoy Thekkady.

Breakfast under the CP plan brought the overall value down. There was no buffet, just a very limited menu with individual orders, and the food was disappointing and lacked the expected taste. The location is a real plus, just steps from the Kumily bus stand, and Woodside Residency is easy to get to. Rooms are fairly spacious and acceptably clean. The courteous staff provide excellent customer service, which made a positive difference to the stay.
