Hotel Rajvihar Deluxe

There was plenty of parking, and the rooms were spacious and clean, but the service was awful. Nighttime disturbances kept me from sleeping well. The staff made me uncomfortable until I tipped them, and their attitude was poor. They also couldn't speak any language besides Telugu.

The workers kept asking for tips for every little thing, even collecting used cups from the room or clearing the restaurant table. They'd stand over you until you paid, which felt absurd after what we'd already spent. The hotel itself is fine for its location, and the rooms are okay, but the restaurant was a bad experience. It was very expensive and, to me, not worth the money. We asked for food without spice for our kid and got something so spicy even adults couldn't eat it. At breakfast, they charged us for Special Masala Dosa when we'd ordered Masala dosa, and did the same with two other items. They wouldn't listen to what we'd actually ordered. The staff were rude, and I felt they were taking people's hard-earned money. Avoid the restaurant.

For Rs 2310 for single occupancy, I expected better than a room that felt worth Rs 1000. The bathroom was dirty and yellow-stained, the room seemed old, and the old window-style AC and bed weren't very comfortable. There wasn't even a water bottle in the room despite paying nearly Rs 2500. At checkout, every housekeeping staff member kept asking for a tip.

The hot water was good, and the food was delicious, but the service was bad. The AC remote didn't work, the staff were irresponsible, and no towels had been provided before check-in.
