Laxmi Continental Resort

The food was great, and the service was just as good. The owner and staff were so friendly and helpful. What really stayed with me was their honesty: I left my silver chain at the resort and only noticed after I’d returned to Port Blair. I called them, and they took responsibility right away and arranged for it to be sent to my hotel. I got it back when I returned. That kindness says a lot about the people of Andaman. I loved the place and was amazed by the hospitality.

The food was a highlight, delicious and well prepared, and it came with warm service. Staff were polite, professional, and made us feel welcome. Laxmi Continental was also very clean throughout, with spacious, well-kept rooms and a pleasant view. We had a comfortable stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, well-run place.

We were very comfortable during our stay. It’s a resort-style property, and the rooms are really nice. The kitchen and dining area are separate from the rooms, with a nice view, so food smells don’t reach the room area, which is a big plus. We had chicken fried rice and lemon prawns as a starter, both were tasty, and breakfast was good and filling too. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Mr Behra, the manager, the other staff, and the service were all very good. I’d highly recommend staying here when visiting this island.

The resort looks lovely and well cared for at first, but our stay was a letdown. The pillow covers were dirty and hadn’t been changed, and the water in the jug was stale and smelled bad. After dinner at the restaurant, many of us got sick with food poisoning. It completely ruined our trip.
