SeaShell Neil

The rooms were great, the resort grounds were nice, and the complimentary breakfast was pretty good. The food was decent, though costly. This is a famous resort and SeaShell is a big brand, but the price didn’t feel justified to me. There’s no swimming pool, and the attached beach is rocky, with only a basic view. There are three hammocks and two swings. The swings weren’t comfortable, and one hammock wasn’t balanced properly. During my two days there, it was just me and my wife who regularly used the area, which says something about the attached beach. The stay was okay, but I was a little disappointed for what I paid.

We had a wide choice of food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with options for different tastes, and our room was spacious, nicely designed, and had everything we needed. Waking up to the quiet views was a highlight. The resort is peaceful and scenic, surrounded by lush greenery, and it was very clean and carefully maintained throughout. From arrival on, the staff were warm and attentive, and everyone made an effort to keep us comfortable. The service and surroundings made it a memorable stay. Highly recommend it for a calm, high-quality getaway.

The natural surroundings were the best part of our stay at Sea Shell Neil Island. Mango, jackfruit, and bor (berry) trees were all around the property, with mangoes falling through the day. The greenery, fresh air, and quiet made it feel refreshing, and the beach behind the property was great for peaceful walks and lovely views without crowds. We also enjoyed the spa and its range of treatments. Saurab at the front desk was especially helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. His tips about the island and places to visit made our trip better. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. A memorable mix of nature, comfort, and warm hospitality.

The staff were attentive and friendly, and even helped us with medical needs late at night. They also thoughtfully provided complimentary meals for our infant. The food was delicious, and we had a peaceful stay in a property with limited rooms, so it never felt crowded. The resort is lush and green, and the rooms were spacious, well designed, beautifully furnished, and soundproof. There’s no direct beach access, but at the back there’s a lovely beach view with hammocks and comfortable seats for relaxing. This was the best resort we stayed at on our Andaman trip. We’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Neil Island.
