The staff were polite, attentive, and cooperative, and the stay was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. It was easy to relax in the peaceful surroundings and get some time away from the usual busy routine. The food was a real highlight, fresh, flavorful, hygienic, and delicious, with every meal nicely prepared and served. A satisfying and memorable visit. I’d recommend it for the food, calm atmosphere, and pleasant stay.

The location is convenient, close to the jetty and other sightseeing spots, but the room wasn’t worth much. The fan regulator didn’t work at all, and the room upkeep needs attention. Hospitality was poor too. The manager was very rude and didn’t know how to speak to customers. Starting at 8, he kept calling and sending staff to the room to get us to leave. When I asked for a little more time, I really didn’t like the way he spoke to me. The location is the only real positive. Service and room maintenance both need to improve.

The rooms were spacious and good, the food was good too, and the quiet location among greenery was lovely. I only stayed one night. The difficult part was the 8AM checkout time. It should be extended. Apart from that, thumbs up.

We were there for one night on 19th January 2026 during our recent trip to Laxmanpur Island[ Neil island]. Parent’s Holidays was our tour operator. The gardens were full of greenery and flowering plants, and the landscaping and cottages looked good. It’s a peaceful property, about 10 minutes by road from the jetty. Check-in was quick, room service prompt, and staff from reception to the restaurant were professionally active and helpful. Breakfast had enough options, and the food was tasty. The property is very good value for money. There was a staffing concern, though. At check-in, we saw the same staff member cleaning a cottage toilet and then, just a few minutes later, plating and serving lunch. That should be avoided, though there may have been a staff shortage at the time. Our fan regulator also didn’t work properly, and both the fan and AC were noisy and need servicing. Dr. R. Adhikari
