Lavasa Luxury Lakeview Studio

The studio is clean and quiet, with all the equipment in working order: a big smart TV, microwave, and AC. It was breezy enough that we didn’t need the AC, even in peak summer. The lake really is right in view, and we enjoyed walking along the boulevard. This isn’t a hotel with a receptionist, though Vanesh is just a call away if you need anything. Booking was handled professionally, and everything felt hospitable and hassle-free. Breakfast is included, but other food has to be ordered from outside. Lavasa is worth a visit, and I’d like to return.

We stayed in E1 303 and had both a lakeside and hill view, which was amazing. The property was neat, clean, and well maintained. Food, parking, and bathroom facilities were all good. I stayed for one night at the so-called “Luxury Lakeview Studio,” and was disappointed. The room was okay for comfort, and the washroom and hot water were fine, but the outside looked run down. The view from the back wasn’t pleasant, though perhaps it’s better during monsoon. The bigger issue was the caretaker’s unprofessional attitude. They didn’t check whether I needed anything or ask about breakfast, which was included in the tariff. I had to order it myself, with limited choices, and it arrived late in a plastic packet. When I asked for it to be served on a plate, the guy said it wasn’t his job. I refused the breakfast and left without eating. I called the owner, Nikhil, to say I was leaving on a very bitter note. I’d come to look at Lavasa properties so I could send tourists there. I also run a homestay and villa in Kashmir, where guests are welcomed warmly and given the service they need, with hot food served on proper plates at the dining table or through room service. After this experience, despite paying a 3-star premium tariff, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

A clean, nice studio right opposite the lake. We had coffee on the balcony in the morning, and took quiet evening walks. You can go boating, or hire a cycle and ride around town if you’re into fitness. Food is something you’ll need to arrange yourself, either by cooking or ordering from outside. We chose to order in. It was a wonderful stay and felt like good value for money. Definitely worth experiencing.
