Residency Lake Resort And Spa

It’s a peaceful retreat with lake and hill views, plenty of greenery, and facilities including a pool, spa, lawns, and indoor games. The rooms have cozy, spacious interiors, and some offer panoramic views, though a few require climbing stairs. It’s a little expensive. The buffet was tasty, but non-veg choices were limited, and the food was also a bit pricey. Staff were polite and attentive, and responded quickly when we needed something. One thing to keep in mind: during peak season and school holidays, guests can make the place loud and chaotic, with shouting, loud conversations, and children running, yelling, or crying. That can make the stay feel not worth the money. I don’t see this as a management issue, it’s down to guest behavior. If you enjoy noisy places, it may still suit you; otherwise, it can be disruptive.

The setting is peaceful and surrounded by nature, and we enjoyed taking an evening walk around the property. The room was clean, well organized, and properly maintained, with a beautiful view, especially over Mulshi lake. The pool was nice and well kept, and indoor activities like snooker, carrom board, and table tennis added to the stay. Breakfast had a good variety and service, and we enjoyed dinner at the resort too. Special thanks to Amit Pendor, Ajit Kumar & Semul for being polite, attentive, and quick to help with all our kitchen requests. It was a relaxing and enjoyable stay at Residency Lake Resort & Spa.

The best part for me was being able to do nothing for a while without feeling bad about it. Residency sits among the Sahyadris with soothing lake views, and the whole place felt like a chance to reset. I enjoyed the slow mornings and walks around the property, and the cottages were lovely. The food was comforting and thoughtfully put together, while the hospitality was warm and attentive without hovering. It’s a quiet break near Pune that could suit a couple, a family, or anyone needing downtime. I left feeling reminded to slow down and breathe.

Ajit and Vishnu were especially kind and helpful, and took good care of us at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We stayed two nights at RLR in a Panoramic lake view room, which had a vintage feel, and really enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious, especially the unlimited buffet at a reasonable price. I’d recommend it for a staycation.
