The staff really made this stay for me. Hafiz at Reception was especially kind and efficient, and the Housekeeping and F&B teams were great too. The hotel is close to the Main Square, with comfortable facilities and good food. I’d strongly recommend it.

We loved being able to walk to Leh market, it’s really close. Dragon Leh also kept us warm through the winter with excellent central heating, and the facilities were great. Vishal Bhaiyaa and the rest of the restaurant team always served delicious food. We stayed for over a week between December 2024 and January 2025, and I’d definitely come back :)

There’s a nice sunrise view from the terrace, and the staff are polite. The hotel has a traditional look, clean toilets, comfortable rooms, a good restaurant, a small shop, and a lawn. It was part of our package deal. Keep in mind it’s a multi-storey building with no mention of a lift, so climbing a couple of floors can be tough if you’ve flown straight into Leh and haven’t acclimatized. Parking may also be a problem if you bring your own car. Drink plenty of water at altitude and don’t overdo it.

I arrived at 6pm after traveling, even though check-in was at noon. Mr Hafiz still asked me to wait another 20 minutes, saying the room had been given to the owner’s friends and used. That felt like a carefree attitude, not just carelessness. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
