Hotel Togochey by Evoke

We arrived around midnight, but they still managed to arrange dinner. Hot water was a bit of a problem, though they did provide it. The owner was kind, and the staff were polite and helpful. They really look after their guests.

The rooms were comfortable, but the food really wasn’t good. Hot water was only available in the mornings. Getting to the property means taking dark lanes a little off the way, with dogs around. They have two dogs on the property that rush at you when you come in, which was frightening. They should keep them tied up.

It’s an affordable place with large, clean rooms and good food, about a six-minute walk from Leh market. Rinchey and the staff, including Shaukat, were ready to help us sort out our itinerary and arrange things for the trip.

The food was delicious, and my room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Togochey Boutique Hotel is also an easy walk from downtown and the main tourist spots. Manager Shaan and the team, especially Sikandar, Pawan, and Prince, were warm and helpful the whole time. I’d gladly stay here again on my next trip to Leh.
