We spent seven nights at the Indus River camp in May 2026, and it was a truly memorable stay. The setting on the Indus River has sweeping views all around of the Ladakh and Zanskar ranges in the Himalayas. The food was fantastic, and the team were warm and friendly. They were deeply involved in planning our stay, itinerary, and transport, with great attention to detail. It’s probably one of the best boutique stays in the world. We’ll come back as soon as we can. Kudos to the super warm, hospitable team.

The setting is peaceful and scenic, a beautiful place to experience the charm of Ladakh. But the care from the people we met stood out even more. Everyone was warm and welcoming. The team helped patiently with our itinerary for months, always available to guide us. They also made my birthday unforgettable with thoughtful gestures in that breathtaking setting. Thank you, Indus River Camp, for the wonderful memories, heartfelt hospitality, and impeccable service. We left with full hearts and hope to return someday. Highly recommended for a Leh Ladakh trip.

The best part of our whole Ladakh circuit was this stay, and we’re already eager to come back. The Indus flows beside the property, tucked among the Himalayas and away from city chaos, though still only a 20 minute drive away. It’s a 40 acre wonderland with just 12 cottages/chalets, so each room has privacy and great views. What really makes it special is the people who run it. Their heart and soul show in every little detail, and hospitality seems to come naturally. A special shout out to JIgmet, Rigzin, and the whole supporting team. You were truly awesome. Hope to see you all again very soon, lots of love.

This was my second time at Indus River camp, after my first visit six months ago for a yoga retreat with my folks. As a first-time visitor to Leh, I’d worried about breathing and acclimatizing, but the team patiently answered my questions and helped with all my doubts. That’s why I made sure to return with my family. The property is beautiful, but what stays with me is the warmth and care of the people. Kunzes, jigmet, rigzin, salman, Abhishek, sonam, and the whole Indus fam were fantastic and always on their toes, from when we arrived in Ladakh until we got home. We spent lovely time by the river portico with tea and seabuckthorn juices, watched the stars, and had hot chocolates, amazing desserts, and some of the best food in Leh town. It feels like a little slice of Ladakh in Leh, and you don’t need to explore further. I could keep writing, but this is a must stay in Leh, especially if you’re flying in directly and need to acclimatize. Thank you, team Indus. More power and light to you.

This was my second visit to the Camp, and I’ll be back. What I remember most is the team’s hospitality. Jingmet went out of his way to make our Ladakh trip special, even after we’d checked out. We’ve never met anyone so caring and felt right at home. The rooms are lovely, with great views over the Indus River and the mountains behind. The beds are super comfortable and the food is great. It’s a relaxing escape from the bustle, while still only 15 mins from Leh town. Can’t wait to stay again.
