The market is close by, so it was easy to explore Leh and enjoy the local culture. The surroundings were peaceful, and Karakoram Hotel was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully managed. The host was kind and welcoming, treating us more like family than guests. We especially loved the fresh, comforting homemade food, served with so much care. The hospitality and personal attention made my trip special, and I left with beautiful memories. I'll visit again and highly recommend Karakoram Hotel for a comfortable, heartfelt stay in Leh.

The food was below average, and with the buffet dinner and breakfast as a guide, I don't think the many menu items justify the higher prices. The rooms were good, and the hotel is near the market, making the main hotspots easy to reach. One issue for tourists arriving from lower altitudes is that they won't help with luggage, so you have to carry it yourself even if you're having breathing trouble.

We had a good view of the monastery and budha from our room. The host was friendly, the food was tasty, and the staff were attentive. It's a neat, decent place.

The staff kept checking that everything was okay, and the service was A1. The rooms and beds were very comfortable, and the shower's hot water was perfect for the weather. The room view was a highlight too. They should improve the internet connection, though. Tourists don't have prepaid numbers, and we'd like to get online in our rooms.

The location near the Market is the only benefit. The food was below average, there was no fan or AC, and the washroom had no exhaust fan. The TV didn't work, there was no key for room 101, and WiFi didn't work in the rooms. The staff were very arrogant. Terrible hotel, DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL.
