OYO 14359 The Mir Villa

I went on my own and really enjoyed the stay. The rooms are nice, the price is affordable, and the host made us feel welcome. Families, couples, or friends could stay here too. Great place!

I still miss staying here, even though I went almost a year ago. It's a quiet, happy, cozy place, and the caretakers really go out of their way to make you comfortable. The rooms are well kept and clean, and the food comes on time. The walk to the main market takes 10-20 minutes, and the road there is fun. The location is just right. TV and internet worked fine too, handy if you want to stay in bed on your first acclimatization day.

This is a home stay, not a hotel. The room and bathroom were very clean, the staff were polite, and the service was nice. They cook homemade food in the owner's kitchen, and rooms 1, 2, and 3 have a nice view. The facilities are good for this budget, and I'd stay here again if I go to LEH. I'd ask the owner, Mr Nazeer, to add an electric kettle to the rooms.

It's a family-run place in Hunder village, close enough to a river for a nice morning or evening walk. They serve tasty homemade food that was easy on the stomach, and there are different room options depending on what you need. The caretaker Raju knows the roads and closures well. It's a great property, and I'd especially recommend it for families.
