The team, from the resort managers to the serving staff, were attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome. We stayed a few days in a duplex cottage room, which worked well for our group of 4-5. It had two roomy floors, each with an attached washroom, plus modern amenities and built-in oil heating panels that kept us comfortable. There’s lots of lawn and open shared space for relaxing or chatting with other travelers. We also really enjoyed the food, with a range of cuisines that was better than we expected. The resort is some distance from Leh town, which made the setting feel peaceful. Views from the rooms are modest, though upstairs you can catch a glimpse of majestic peaks. Ladakh Sarai made for a serene, enjoyable stay.

We ended up staying four days, including one extra after our flight got cancelled. It was such a cozy, lovely experience, with yummy food, a beautiful property, and very kind staff. They took such good care of us. I’d honestly recommend this place again and again.

We had an amazing three-night stay at this resort in Leh. The hosts and helpers were wonderful, and the dinner was huge and delicious, with really high-quality food and lovely presentation. They welcomed us warmly, then served evening tea. I’d easily recommend staying here.

The manager was friendly and down to earth, and even pointed us toward some good places to shop at reasonable prices. Staff gave us thoughtful personal attention. Our rooms were clean and well kept, and the food was tasty, including some local dishes we were glad to try. One of our best stays. I’d recommend it to friends and family.

We spent six of our eight days at Ladakh Sarai Resort, Leh, and were comfortable there in the pleasant setting among snow-covered mountains. After trips to other parts of this beautiful country, coming back to the resort felt like coming home. The rooms were well maintained, the staff were lovely, and the food was exceptionally tasty.
