Leh Ling Guesthouse

The owner was especially kind and helped our group a lot during our three-day stay. Rooms are about a 10-minute walk from the main road, and a six-seater taxi from the stand for Manali vehicles cost us 200 rs. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and clean, warm, soft pillows and blankets. Big windows give an amazing mountain view on one side of the hotel. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable stay in Leh.

The owner was decent and very kind. He gave us all sorts of information for visiting Ladakh, and when we got lost several times, he would come pick us up himself. They treated us just like family. We stayed at Lehling guest house for three days in June 23 with my whole family. The staff welcomed us warmly and were helpful, all the facilities were available, and the clean rooms had beautiful views from the windows.

The owner is gentle and helpful, and the room service was very good. I stayed four days in July 2022 and was fully satisfied with the clean room, bedsheet, and blankets. It was a joyful time at Leh ling GH.

This is clean, inexpensive accommodation, though getting there can be a hassle because the road was broken when I visited in 2016 and 2018. The owner is friendly. Shoes aren’t allowed inside, and slippers are provided. Rooms come with or without attached bathrooms. Hot water is solar powered. Smoking in rooms isn’t allowed either; if you smoke, you need to ask for an ashtray and leave the windows open, which is common courtesy. Three couples from our group stayed one night on our Ladakh trips in both 2016 and 2018.
