Royal Holiday Hotel

The breakfast schedule was a problem for us. It was supposed to be ready at 8, but at 8:30 it still wasn't available, even though we had a connecting flight. Nobody on staff even apologized. Make My Trip also hasn't responded to or addressed any of these issues. The room and bathroom were extremely dirty. There were food leftovers under the rug, stains on the sheets and comforter, no face towels or bathroom slippers, and just one soap for everything. There was no Wi-Fi either. Staff were rude, and even the manager didn't seem concerned. This stay could ruin your trip. I was surprised this was recommended by Make My Trip. There are good hotels nearby with basic amenities. We had arranged the first couple of days of our trip ourselves, and this place was suggested for our last day. Otherwise the experience would have been a disaster. Please avoid staying here.

The front desk staff were friendly and helped us retrieve our luggage from our previous hotel. The manager was generous and helpful, and we booked our airport taxi through the hotel. The Royal Holiday has tidy rooms and lovely, contemporary amenities, plus an excellent breakfast. It's an ideal place to stay in Leh, and I'd say it's a must.

It's in a peaceful spot within walking distance of the main market, and the hotel was neat and clean. Jeet Sharma, the manager, was attentive and caring, with good suggestions. He dealt with our questions and problems right away. We were served tasty tea when we arrived, and the food was good too. Wi-Fi worked well enough for us to attend video conferences during our stay. We had a nice stay and felt it was good value for our money while visiting Leh-Ladakh.

The staff were really helpful. They even brought us an oxygen cylinder when we needed one. The food was excellent, and the rooms were very clean and had all the conveniences we needed. The hotel is close to the market and not far from the airport. If we visit Leh again, we'll definitely stay here.
