The Silk Route Ladakh

I spent three days here and found it well worth staying at in Leh. There was plenty of room to relax, including a terrace and clean seating areas, and the food was good. Staff were friendly and cooperative. My four year old really enjoyed the well kept garden, and the terrace was a nice extra.

Jagdish at reception was very kind and helped us whenever we needed something. We spent four days in Leh with family in April 2025. The property looks lovely and aesthetic, great for the gram, and the rooms were medium sized but fine and cleaned well each day. Food was only okay at first, then improved after a day or two. Service was really slow, so be prepared to wait. It was a good stay overall, though things could be quicker.

The food stood out, with delicious meals made from fresh local ingredients. The hotel itself was charming and peaceful, yet conveniently close to the main market. My room was clean, cozy, and well looked after, and I felt very comfortable there. I’d happily return.

There’s plenty of space to take it easy, with a garden and terrace that are especially handy for lying low during the first 1-2 nights while acclimatizing in Leh. The staff are nice, the hotel is clean, and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast has a sufficient choice of vegetarian and non vegetarian food. It’s not far from either the airport or Leh Market. I’d stay here again if I return to magnificent Ladakh.
