The Willow House

There's a great view, cozy rooms, and very welcoming owners, and the stay is worth every penny. One small Maps note: the property is on the right side of the road, not the left. Highly recommend it if you want somewhere a little secluded with a lovely view.

I strongly advise against booking this place. Every request got a negative response, and the hospitality was extremely poor. The caretaker was uncooperative, wouldn't work, and asked for extra payment for the heater. Even though an RO was installed, guests were told to drink tap water. When we ordered food from outside at night, he wouldn't provide basic dishes or spoons. This property shouldn't be listed on MakeMyTrip or any platform.

The setting was scenic and convenient, close to key attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I had a wonderful experience. I'd definitely recommend it.

I’d choose a hotel over this homestay. We paid to stay here, but the service was abysmal and the caretaker was rude to my friends. It felt like they thought they were doing us a favor by letting us stay. There was no heating. When we asked for space heaters, they said there was an extra charge, though they gave us a few anyway. The towels weren’t very clean, and my friend’s washroom smelled. At night the kitchen was locked, so we couldn’t get plates or spoons for a home delivery order. There’s no room service, either, so used cutlery could sit in your room from one day to the next unless you call and ask for it to be removed. Each morning there was no hot water until we called the caretaker around 9 AM to switch on the heaters, then waited half an hour for it to run.
