It’s hard to leave once you get settled in. The team are warm and welcoming, and the whole place has a great feel. There are cards, foosball, and ping-pong for hanging out and meeting people. We loved our time at Woossah! Both the dorms and private rooms are spotless and really comfortable, and the café food and drinks were delicious. Huge thanks to everyone, we’ll be back! The team at Woosah Hostel made us feel at home and handled our requests for food, transport, and other things promptly. They also put together a detailed tour itinerary, including the main sights and local hidden spots, and their knowledge of the area’s culture added a lot to the trip. We had an unforgettable stay in Leh, thanks in large part to the excellent hospitality and management. Yahil Chunka, the manager, was kind, helpful, and attentive throughout. I’d highly recommend the hostel to anyone visiting. It’s more than just a place to sleep.

The rooftop common area is a nice spot to chat and relax with café food, and the mountain views are very good. It’s about 2 km from both the Leh market and the airport. For Indian standards, I’d call the amenities decent overall. There were some service gaps in the mixed dorms, where room service was often irregular because of staff shortages. It seemed like the one or two people serving us had many other duties keeping them busy. In summer, the 10 bed dorm could use better cooling or another fan during the day. Shower gel in the stalls would also be useful.

When my return flight was unexpectedly cancelled, I urgently needed somewhere affordable. Woosah Hostel turned out to be just right: clean, comfortable rooms, board games, tasty food, and even better company. It felt like a little community, and I also got to see a beautiful snowfall while I was there. Highly recommend it to anyone passing through.
