Getting around was easy, with shops and places to eat just a short walk away, and they can arrange an autorickshaw if you ask. The staff were friendly and quick, and the food was tasty without being too spicy. There’s a small games room, a kids’ play area and a pool, plus magic shows and music on most weekends. The resort is quite old, but it’s well maintained, and the rooms are bigger than those in newer resorts. I’d recommend it.

The kids’ play area kept my babies busy, which gave us a much-needed break from constant parenting. The property is huge, thoughtfully laid out and clean, with spacious rooms and plenty of natural beauty. We visited during Christmas week. It’s right by the market road, so street food is an easy walk away, though Avion’s food was great too. The complimentary buffet was healthy and tasty, especially the Puri- Sabzi, and I liked seeing one or two fruits added to breakfast. That felt like a healthy choice by the Chef.

We had a lovely short getaway, and I’d happily visit again. The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff were helpful and prompt, and the restaurant had tasty food with a good range of options. There’s a decent-sized pool for a quick dip and a nice play area for kids. The lush greenery and well-kept grounds make for a lovely atmosphere, and the resort is close to the market and major attractions while still feeling peaceful. A few things could use an upgrade, particularly the room interiors and pool maintenance, but it’s still a great spot for a trip with family or friends.

The nighttime noise was constant, with traffic going by day and night, and the resort’s condition didn’t come close to justifying its high seasonal rates. The rooms were old, unclean and had no view. Hygiene was poor, and the kids’ play area was extremely dirty. Staff weren’t polite or helpful. At night, our room’s landline kept cross-connecting, so we got calls around 3 AM and then again every few hours. We reported it but heard repeated apologies without anyone fixing it. Food was very average, and parking was limited and inconvenient, yet cost extra for no valid reason. The location is in a prime area, but the stay fell well short on comfort, service and cleanliness. I wouldn’t recommend it at the prices they charge.
