Meritas Aura Resort

The staff were good and breakfast was good, but the rooms didn't feel like hotel rooms, more like a raw house bunglow society. There was no fridge or kettle in the room. The layout felt like one bunglow: you leave the living room to reach your room, and guests in 3 rooms all use the same living room as their way through. The poolside kid slide was closed, there was no view, and it didn't feel like we were at a hill station. Without the feeling of a hotel room, how can you get vacation vibes? At the same rate, "Rumours sky villa" is a better option.

We booked meritas aura for a one day trip to lonavla after looking at multiple resorts and villas. The superior rooms with balcony were fantastic: spacious, with comfortable beds, clean washrooms, and very good AC cooling. The only issue was the lagging TV network. The open-air swimming pool was large, crystal clear, and very well maintained, with a separate kids' pool with slides. We enjoyed it a lot. Check in went smoothly, and the reception staff were polite, welcoming, knowledgeable, and courteous. We ordered lunch and dinner through room service. The food was tastefully prepared, with good portions and great quality. The service team were polite and always ready to help. Kudos to the chef and the whole team. Will visit again soon.

Indoor games, the children's play area, and the swimming pool were a great bonus in a very relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a break from chaotic routine. My stay at the resort was excellent. The rooms were neat, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were generous and kind.

Our Executive room was better than I imagined, with everything clean and well maintained, a good view, great food, and very polite, helpful staff. Amit was especially professional and polite. The problem was a water issue in our room, so we were asked to move to a Superior room for 1-2 hours. It wasn't fixed by morning, so we spent the night in the Superior room. Executive costs more, but they didn't refund us even though the issue was on their side. The shifting left us exhausted on what was meant to be a relaxing trip.
