Avoid this place. The back of the hotel was filthy, with open sewage that made the rooms at the rear stink. When we raised it, staff basically said that was just how things were and all they could do was spray air freshener. The bedding was dirty too, nowhere near basic hotel standards. The bathrooms were poor: no exhaust fan, dim lighting, and a weak flush that couldn't clear things even after three tries. I had to use a bucket of water. There's no elevator, and they use steel glasses. Staff were below average, and room service adds a 15% charge for food orders. I don't understand the decent ratings online. We got caught by them, so please avoid it.

The peaceful setting made for a relaxing break, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout. This was my second time at Om Palace, and I found it just as good as my first visit. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well looked after. It's good value, and I'd recommend staying here. I'm already looking forward to returning.
