Meritas Countryside Resort - Lonavala

The rooms at Countryside Meritas Resort were spacious, comfortable, and clean, and every meal was a highlight. We had a fantastic stay, with top-notch hospitality throughout. A special thanks to Abhishek for arranging the best room for my accessibility needs, and to Subha for all his help during our stay. You both made our vacation special.

The food was awesome, and the buffet breakfast was tasty, though there were very few choices. Getting to the resort wasn't a problem since the roads were good, even though it's a little inland. But the rooms were small, smelly, and in need of maintenance. I had to call housekeeping three times before the room was cleaned. I've stayed at other Meritas resorts that were much better, and I'd rather avoid Meritas Countryside resort next time.

For a one-day stay, we had a wonderful experience at Meritus Countryside Resort. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the friendly staff gave good, attentive service. At this price, though, we'd rate the amenities and service at three stars. The resort exceeded our expectations, and we'd recommend it to others.

This is a small, well-lit boutique hotel in a good location, with reasonable rates for a long winter weekend. Breakfast choices are limited, but what they serve is yummy, and the management is relaxed. There's a little play area and a small pool, but not much room for kids to play outdoor sports or ride bikes. They don't allow smoking or drinking on the balcony.
