SaffronStays Windermere - Heated Pool, Projector Room & TT

We had a warm, homey visit in May at this villa-like place, which has been turned into what they call V resorts. It's about 3 kms inside from the main market, so you'll need a private vehicle to go out after checking in. There's no nearby auto stand or public transport. Although the pool and a few parts were still under construction, the place felt airy, open and spacious. Our rooms each had a framed picture and a short fact about a place around Lonavala, including Bhaja Caves, Kanheri Caves and Pawna dam. Two duplex rooms shared a balcony, and I really liked the ceiling lights. We'd booked a candle light sitting arrangement, but construction meant that wasn't available. The manager was sweet and set up something similar on the big balcony connected to the rooms instead. After a day of sightseeing in Lonavala, having a home-cooked full square meal there under a star-filled sky and a soft breeze was simple and lovely, with good company too.
