Strand Resort

The room felt cramped and enclosed. It was extremely small, with the bed taking up almost all the floor space, and the window faced a wall, so there was no ventilation. We were put at the back of the property instead of the front, which made it less comfortable. The bathroom was only moderately clean and not especially hygienic. There were no basic toilet accessories, which I understand, but even slippers would have helped. The towels looked used and hadn't been properly cleaned. When I raised that with the staff, they dismissed my concern and said, “this doesn’t happen.” The night before we arrived, I called to ask if we could check in an hour early. The staff member spoke rudely and in a rush, saying something like, “please talk fast, I don’t have time for this.” I hope Strand Resort improves its cleanliness, staff courtesy, room allocation, and attention to guest comfort.

The lunch was very tasty, and the staff were supportive when we asked for it to be served in the room. The location is good, and the rooms are okay for the price. It's a budget hotel for people who mainly need a place to sleep and would rather spend their money enjoying things outside than on a hotel stay. I recommend it for that kind of trip.

On Agoda the rate showed 2900 rs, but they charged more on Saturday and said breakfast wasn't included because they were giving a discount. The service wasn't very good.
