Villa San Lawrenz

The villa is great for a laid-back weekend if you’re happy staying in. It has lots of greenery, trees and flowers, plus a large pool, dining area, and open space. The rooms are clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. I stayed at villa Sanz Lawrenz for two nights and three days, and found the distance to restaurants and other spots inconvenient. It’s a long way from nearby restaurants, so it may not suit you if you want nights out in town. We still had a relaxing, fun trip, and I’d recommend it for a quiet break by the pool or in your room.

The staff were polite and very helpful, the food was good, and the pool was attractive and well maintained. There’s also an in-house bakery where you can order a cake, pastry, or cookies made for you. Meal times are strict, so plan to finish on schedule. The grounds, full of trees and flowers, felt peaceful, and parking for cars and bikes was good. The retro-style building has well-kept rooms with balconies offering different views. Its meeting and conference rooms are also well maintained and bring in plenty of daylight through their many windows. The one letdown was the bathtubs, which weren’t working because they hadn’t been maintained. A good property to spend time in.

The room had a good bed and AC, and room service was timely and very good. Breakfast was pretty good, too, and they let us check out about an hour late. The property is spacious, with a very large pool. The 43-inch TV can be placed in front of the balcony, which is handy. There were no toiletries or other bathroom amenities.

We found the rooms neat and tidy, and both the food and service were excellent. The big pool and games like table tennis, foosball, and carrom kept the children occupied. A family could easily spend two days here without needing to go out.
