The house is beautifully designed for weddings, but we had a terrible experience with the owner. The day before our guests were due, she demanded more money. Even after Rs20 000 had been paid, she refused to open the guesthouse door when they arrived. She was extremely unprofessional and an embarrassment in front of the foreign guests and tourists visiting Lucknow. Please boycott this wedding home.
We came from Delhi for our daughter's wedding last year and had a really bad experience. The ambiance is nice, but the owners are rude and unwelcoming. They first persuade you to pay the full amount, then don't provide the services you need. Meenakshi doesn't know how to behave. You can find better places with better service at a more reasonable price.
The washroom was in very bad condition, and there was no employee at reception. The staff's way of speaking wasn't good either. We had already paid online, but they charged extra. Very bad experience with anand villa.
