Backpackers Den is foreigners-friendly, which matters because many hotels in Lucknow don't host foreign guests. I also appreciated how practical the place is for backpackers: sockets by the beds and on the terrace, plus individual lights and shelves. It was clean throughout, from the spotless bathrooms to the tidy kitchen and common spaces. The beds were very comfortable, and the terrace was handy for working outdoors. I had a fantastic stay and can wholeheartedly recommend it to travelers looking for a comfortable, clean hostel with good facilities and a nice atmosphere.

In a quiet area, this private room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed. It's the best private room I've had in a hostel in India so far, and good value for the money.

It's good value, with excellent cleanliness and hospitality. The location in the safe, quiet, posh Mall Avenue area is a plus, although public transport access isn't very good.

Rohit and his team made our evening better, many thanks to them. I spent a really nice, peaceful evening here, and the staff's work and the owners' construction are commendable. It's more than a hostel; calling it a meditation centre wouldn't be wrong. They've made a peaceful, civilized environment and keep improving day by day. I hope it becomes an even better place to stay and spend time. Do a great job, and visit to experience this peaceful and prosperous place.
