Capital O 10060 Hotel The Leaf

The staff were polite, which was the one good part. I booked Hotel Leaf for my daughter’s birthday, but wasn’t satisfied with the overall experience. It may be value for money for a simple stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it for events. We put the hotel in charge of all the decoration and event arrangements, but they messed it up. The banquet hall wasn’t ready until the last moment, and I had to step in personally to get important things like the front gate lighting fixed. It caused unnecessary stress on an important day. There’s no lift on the ground floor, which is essential for a banquet hall, especially for guests with seniors or children. The large gathering hall is in the basement, making the setup feel compromised and inconvenient. Management didn’t seem professional, and event handling fell far below expectations. There’s a lot to improve in management, facilities, and event coordination.

The room was so dirty and disgusting I can’t put it into words. I stayed at this property 1.5 years ago, but on my recent visit in feb 2026 it was completely different from what it had been the first time. We booked for two days and checked in late at night. As soon as we entered, we wanted to leave, but it was already past midnight, so we stayed for the night and checked out first thing in the morning. Every floor, including the room, smelled of cigarette smoke. The bedsheet, pillow, and comforter were all dirty and smelly. I can kind of understand how it got into such bad shape, since the staff don’t seem to care. We’d booked for two days but were leaving after a few hours, and the guy at reception didn’t even ask if there was a problem with the room or service. I’d highly advise against booking here. There are much better properties in the vicinity.

The service was the biggest letdown. Staff seemed slow and inattentive, which affected my experience at an event in The Leaf in Lucknow’s banquet hall and is why I’m giving it three stars. The banquet space itself looked elegant and was well decorated, with a pleasant atmosphere. The food was okay overall. I liked some dishes, while a few weren’t to my taste, though that’s just my personal preference.

The food was very good, and the rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and cooperative. I had a great experience and found it a very good hotel.
