Room 110 was awful when we first arrived. It smelled bad and everything was dirty, as if the room hadn’t been used for months. They changed it at night after we complained. Room 102 was better, but still below standard. The switches were broken, door handles loose, and the cupboard dirty. There was no kettle for tea or coffee, and the towels were old and yellowish. I’m sorry to say the stay wasn’t enjoyable, especially from a hotel in such a well-known group.

The room wasn’t like the pictures the Fabhotels agent sent me, and it didn’t have standard amenities such as a kettle. They used to provide soap and dental kits with the Fabhotels label, but now it’s just ordinary, substandard soap and Clinic Plus shampoo. I’m guessing Fabhotels is taking on regular hotels to expand without even visiting to check the rooms. I say that because I never heard back from the booking agent about my concerns. There was no apology or compensation for the disappointing experience. The Fabhotels brand seems past its best; the hotel itself was average.

It was budget friendly, near the main Aminabad area, and the service was fine. The room was basic, just enough for a night, but the bed was comfortable and the AC worked well, so I slept well. The AC worked at its best.

Water taps and the shower didn’t work properly, and about half the room lights were out. The room was unclean when I arrived, with a strong, unpleasant smell that stayed the whole time. These problems made the stay more disappointing.
