Goroomgo R. K. Dormitory Lucknow

The clean place, helpful staff, locker and drinking water were positives. It’s a dorm with AC and non-AC options, plus a private room. But getting there with luggage is a hassle since it’s on the second floor and there’s no elevator. There’s no parking, so vehicles have to be left by the roadside. The beds are too short for someone who’s six feet tall, and there’s no quiet policy, unlike dorms I’ve stayed in before. Also, the AC is turned off after 6 a.m. even when it’s hot. I asked for it to be switched back on because the room was heating up, but they refused. Hope this is useful to both the owner and guests.

I liked most things here, especially the sanitation and cleanliness, and I’ll recommend it to my friends for a solo stay. For men it’s awesome, though I don’t think it’s good for families. The bed is the one letdown: it’s too narrow to be ideal in winter, but you can manage.

The dorm is affordable, with beds priced at Rs 199 and 299, and the people are nice and hospitable. Bathrooms are very clean, with hot and cold water available. The only issue I noticed was that the sheets looked a bit dirty.

I feel at home here and am very happy with the place. The guest house is clean and hygienic, the staff are supportive, and RO water is available around the clock. Whenever I come to Lucknow, I stay at RK lucknow dormitory, which is very close to charbaug railway station. The service is excellent.
