Hotel I.P. Palace

Three of the four rooms we used were fine, with no complaints. The first room on the ground floor had slow or no water and a noise that sounded like rats. We booked twice and stayed across four rooms for four people. The rooms were clean and had hot water all day. The owner was helpful, and the hotel is being renovated again, which could be a plus. I didn't take photos, but the Google pictures matched the rooms. Charbagh chourah is nearby and walkable. Shared toto (auto) rides from there cost 20 rs per seat to aminabad, 30 rs to bada imamwada, 30 rs to ambedkar memorial park, and 20 rs to chowk.

At 2 AM, after my train was late, I had no idea where to find a decent hotel. I'd paid for a booking through Make my trip, but the room had been given to someone else because I arrived late. It took a lot of arguing and awful treatment at the front desk before I got a refund, and I also lost the cab fare. The whole thing was mentally stressful and wasted my time. Make my trip customer care didn't listen and cut the call. Terrible service from both the hotel and Make my trip. Don't book this hotel through MAKEMY Trip.

I paid an advance for a room at Hotel I.P. Palace, then an executive called just one day before check-in to say it wasn't available and asked me to cancel myself. There was no cancellation option on the hotel's official site. He said the refund would be processed, but I still haven't received anything. Very unprofessional and inconvenient.

The fan regulator didn't work, and although I asked for it to be repaired, it never was. Room service and customer service were poor too. They brought food but left the utensils in my room despite several calls. Reception staff were very unwelcoming, with a strong "i don't care " attitude. They only smiled and asked for a review when I checked out.
