Hotel Mauryans by OYO Rooms

It’s an average hotel, with many rooms, and could work for a wedding of up to 100 people. The washrooms are very small, though. Getting to the location is difficult if you aren’t using Google Maps.

The owner is a gem and is always on hand to help, offer solutions, and make sure you’re served. The staff are friendly and ready to assist, and the service was great. We stayed for a few days and found the property nice, with beautiful, clean rooms.

After my friend's marriage, we came back at night and they refused to give us a blanket, saying, “Do whatever you want, this is our area.” When I called before going, I told them there would be three friends. Once we arrived, they demanded extra money for the third person. After we paid, they agreed to provide an extra blanket and bed. The rooms and bathrooms weren’t clean or as good as shown on the OYO app. After checking in on the app, I contacted them and they suggested booking directly. Don’t go there. Maybe the other reviews are from hotel staff. The staff don’t know how to talk to people.

I was given a room at another place when I checked in. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and it felt totally unsafe. I strongly recommend that nobody choose it. If negative ratings were possible, I’d give one.
