The event itself went smoothly, thanks to cooperative management, prompt serving, and tasty food with a decent range of dishes. The hall was spacious and nicely decorated, with attractive lighting and plenty of parking, so it worked well for the engagement celebration. The rooms were the weak point. They felt basic, the mattresses weren't comfortable, and the blankets were plain rather than white, which may not suit everyone's expectations. The overall function was enjoyable, but anyone wanting a luxurious or comfortable stay may need to arrange accommodation elsewhere.

The food options include both vegetarian and non-vegetarian multi-cuisine dishes, and you can also bring in your own caterer. There are no restrictions on alcoholic drinks, and guests can use the bar counter. Transport access by road and public transit is convenient, and parking is good. S D Palace, Lucknow has a green lawn, seating for a large guest list, and an elegant look. Its banquet hall suits medium-sized gatherings, while the ground has two halls and rooms, including separate rooms for the bride and groom. The professional team is said to handle details and meet commitments, and SD Palace IIM Road Lucknow also offers decor services.

Most of the rooms had no working AC, and in the others they wouldn't give us the remotes. For a summer event that made things uncomfortable for our guests. When we called for help, nobody answered, and our complaints were brushed aside. They even demanded more money in the middle of the function, when we had little choice. We'd already paid in full, yet the staff were rude and uncooperative. They hadn't checked the services before providing them. I wouldn't recommend this place if you want a peaceful function.

We had a good experience here. The food was good, the staff were nice, and the place works well for weddings or other family functions. It's right on the road.

A nice place, though there's nowhere to park and the roads get blocked.
