The room was dirty and the mattresses were poor quality. I booked through MMT, but when I arrived they refused to let me check in and asked for extra money. I got a refund from MMT that same day and booked somewhere else. This hotel is a fraud, and they’re using a fake name for bookings. Don’t book here.

Our reception at Hotel Grand Inn was a disaster. The food was far below an acceptable standard, and the vegetarian and non-vegetarian stalls were together, which made many of our vegetarian guests uncomfortable. There wasn’t proper seating for the families either. They put out a tiny table for the bride and groom while everyone else had to stand and eat. The event was chaotic and badly organized, and it ruined our special occasion. The treatment of our guests was just as bad. Some people who had pre-booked rooms were turned away because the hotel said those rooms were occupied until noon. One guest kept asking for towels but never got any. When we complained, the receptionist was dismissive and rude, saying, “Do whatever you want; we cannot help.” The complimentary suite included in our package was filthy and full of cigarette butts. When we raised it, the booking manager implied our own guests had caused it, which was insulting and unacceptable. The rooms were dusty and unhygienic, with dirty toilets. The intercom had been left on a chair in front of the dressing table, blocking the wardrobe. The so-called suites cost ₹3,500 per night, had no mini-fridge, and had the same bathroom as the standard rooms. The only difference was an extra double bed, which wasn’t worth the price. They say rooms cost ₹2,500 a night, but the same rooms are listed for ₹1,100 on MakeMyTrip with breakfast, which is what they’re actually worth. If you book online, they threaten to cancel and pressure you to book directly at their higher rate. Even at ₹2,500, breakfast isn’t included. The per plate price might seem reasonable, but the service, hospitality, and management were shockingly poor. Avoid Hotel Grand Inn. They mislead customers about prices, don’t provide basic hospitality, and respond rudely when concerns are raised. Book elsewhere if you want even basic service.

I was charged an extra 500 for arriving at 9:30 AM. The room’s AC wasn’t working, and it took more than 8 hours and several follow-ups before they moved me to another room, finally after 9 PM. Staff stayed indifferent and unprofessional through the whole thing. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was an exceptionally poor experience.

This is a budget option near the crown mall, which is within walking distance, so food and things to do are easy to find nearby. The rooms are average, not luxurious, and there’s no food or drinks provided, so you’ll need to arrange those yourself. You get one double bed, a small bathroom with an English toilet 🚽, and an almeera for luggage. Could work if you only need a room for a few hours.
