Hotel Rajput by OYO Rooms

I wouldn't pay this price again. The rooms aren't properly maintained, and the bathrooms were extremely dirty. Staff weren't polite, and I felt they were trying different ways to get extra money from us. Don't trust the hotel's photos.

I was there for my SSC exam and stayed from September 11, 2024, with the exam the next day. On exam morning I left my key at reception. When I came back, my room was open and everything was disturbed. They said the laundry worker had taken the key to collect my sheets and towel. I complained that nobody should be opening my room or handing out the key without my permission. They apologized, but that didn't make it okay. The online rating of 10 on booking.com made no sense to me. Getting a towel was another mess. There wasn't one on my second day, and when I asked reception on my third day, they said they'd bring one in five minutes. I called again an hour later and got the same answer. Three hours passed, and I had to check out for my 5:30 train. When I asked about it then, they said they had no spare towels. Room service was awful, and the toilets were very dirty too. A pathetic hotel and experience, with one excuse after another.

It is very close to Lucknow train station and Charbagh metro, but I can't give it more than one star. The doors in some rooms wouldn't lock from outside, so security depends on the staff. The washrooms were in disarray, the TV and Wi-Fi didn't work, and they gave just one soap as toiletries. The linen was filthy and stained. The fans rattled so badly they seemed ready to fall on your head. Staff passed complaints to the manager, who agreed with everything and then did nothing.

The staff were welcoming and helpful to tourists, and their car service was good too. Aditya, the driver, was friendly, knew his job well, and also made a good guide. Really nice hospitality and service.
