Hotel SS Grand

The staff across departments were friendly and professional, and went above and beyond during our reception function. Our rooms were pristine and comfortable, and the service was prompt and efficient, always with a smile. We spent three days at Hotel SS Grand, hosting our reception there, and everything exceeded our expectations. Thanks to the whole hotel team for making the occasion memorable. Five stars all around!

We arrived around 11 PM after driving 800kms, and thankfully only needed the hotel for one night because our wedding function was at another resort. We’d called in the afternoon to say we’d be late, but the staff struggled to confirm our advance booking and had no record of it. We had to send the payment receipt to prove it. Check-in service was very slow, and the rooms weren’t ready. Once we got in, the condition was pathetic: stained bedsheets with hairs on them, dirty washrooms, and a car park inside the hotel premises that staff refused to let us use. We asked several times to park at least one car, since it held our expensive belongings, but they said their staff would have to move their bikes. The kitchen was closed when we arrived, and although we’d packed dinner from outside, they wouldn’t even lend us utensils. They said the storeroom was locked and they didn’t have the key, so we ate on disposable plates. Breakfast was complimentary but tasteless. I wonder how they manage hotel service. Our drivers were given mattresses, but they said mosquitoes kept them from sleeping at night, and the hotel didn’t provide repellent.

For my son's marriage, we booked a two-day stay for me and my guests along with the function. It felt like a home away from home, and the experience was amazing. Everything was organized well and on time. Special thanks to GM Mr Mishra, who was personally involved at every moment.

I attended a marriage function here. The rooms were very good, and there was plenty of space. Nice place, with a good environment and good food. Overall, it's a good venue.
