The last time I stayed here, around two years ago, I was genuinely impressed with the cleanliness and the overall experience. A few days ago, the condition was drastically worse. I’d booked for two days, but after one unpleasant night we checked out the next morning and stayed at a friend’s place. The reception area was just okay. The room was extremely dirty, the wardrobes were falling apart, the furniture was old and poorly maintained, and the walls had water stains and dirt as if leaks or spills hadn’t been properly cleaned. The sofa seats were so unclean I didn’t feel comfortable sitting on them. The bedsheets had visible stains. I asked the hospitality team to replace them, but the “fresh” ones were stained too. I ended up sleeping on top of the quilt, which wasn’t ideal. Most of the charging sockets were broken, with only one or two working. The commode was very dirty and the whole bathroom felt unpleasant and unhygienic. Things got even worse when my friend and I came back after roaming around Lucknow at night. Drunk guests were fighting with the receptionist in the lobby, and the whole scene was chaotic and messy. It was clear to me that the hotel was entertaining the wrong kind of crowd, so we changed our minds about staying another night. At checkout, the receptionist didn’t even ask why we were leaving early, which showed a complete lack of concern or awareness about the hotel’s condition. This place feels neglected, poorly maintained, and unmanaged. Hygiene, maintenance, and the guest experience are seriously compromised. If Google allowed negative stars, I’d definitely give them.
