We attended a reception at Lucknow’s renowned Hyatt Hotel on February 20, and the arrangements were deeply disappointing. The hall and lawn had discarded plates all over, like a feast (Bhandara), and I don’t know who was managing the party or who the floor manager was. The food service was badly organized too. Starters and drinks took a long time, and the floor manager told me soup was part of the main course, so it would only be served when that began. When the soup counter finally opened, the soup wasn’t hot. The chaat counter was slow with batasha, tikkis, and other items, and the main course was cold as well. The live-counter jalebi was thick and raw, the Moong and Badam mix halva was cold with no hot serving arrangement, and the Faluda Kulfi was poor quality. I was deeply disappointed by the arrangements at a five-star hotel.

The food was delicious and Chef Harshit made our dining experience special. Everyone’s warm hospitality and attention to detail made our New Year stay memorable. As Hyatt members, we felt welcome from the moment we arrived, and Mr. Shiva at reception was especially polite and helpful, making check-in smooth and easy. We stayed for New Year’s Eve and New Year at Hyatt Regency Lucknow, and had a comfortable, pleasant time. Highly recommended.

The main drawback was valet parking: they leave the vehicle outside the hotel grounds, so getting it back takes some time. Apart from that, I had a pleasant, hassle-free business meeting visit. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the meeting room had good sound quality. The breakout area and room were clean and well maintained, housekeeping kept things tidy, and I liked the modern decor and cozy feel. It’s centrally placed near Indira Gandhi Pratishthan and One Awadh Centre, with easy access to local places. There’s a peaceful atmosphere for business or leisure stays, and the in-house dining had tasty food with a good variety.

Abhishek was such a warm host, and even the chef came over to wish my mom a happy 76th birthday. I brought her here to celebrate, and we had a very warm, pleasant time. The food was great, Mom loved it, and the ambience was super. The whole experience was wonderful.
