O'live Inn By OYO Rooms

Room 102 on the ground floor had an okay interior, mattress and washroom, but they weren't worth the price. The hotel has a basement kitchen, and until 11:00 PM I could hear pans and plates being washed and smell the tadka. Since the kitchen opens at 8:30 AM, breakfast can't be expected earlier. I checked out at 8:30 AM to get somewhere early, so I couldn't have tea or coffee. The sheet was dirty, mosquitoes kept me up all night, and although the AC was set to 17 degrees, I still had to run the ceiling fan at full speed. Payment has to be made at the hotel. If you've already paid through the OYO app, they won't accept the booking.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. The TV was broken, the bathroom flush didn't work, and the sheet was torn and covered in stains. They filled the water bottle by hand. The license should be cancelled.

The stay itself was comfortable, but the food was very expensive. I'd booked through Oyo with dinner included, but the staff wouldn't honor the Rs.179 dinner in my booking. The hotel was charging Rs.250 for the same dinner and made me remove it from the booking. An omelette with two eggs cost Rs.80, which shocked me. Breakfast was Rs.50 for four pieces of bread and one tea.

I came with my kids and asked for warm water, but they refused. The manager behaved terribly, and the AC wasn't working either. In the morning I looked through the visitors' register and was shocked to see rooms being given to boys and girls who were 22. I had trusted OYO Rooms and checked in because I thought the rooms were safe. By morning, I felt I'd made a huge mistake.
