OYO 68040 Hotel Aastha

The building shook whenever a train passed on the nearby track, almost like an earthquake, and there were so many mosquitoes that sleeping was difficult. The road outside was in awful shape with water everywhere, and there was nowhere nearby to eat. I booked through the official OYO app, but was asked for extra money at check-in. This hotel is unfinished, in a bad area, and has no lift. My room had no ventilation or AC, and the bathroom had no light. They didn’t provide towels, water bottles, or soap, and wouldn’t give me a room key, so I couldn’t lock up when going out. I’d ask people not to book here.

There was no bathroom water for hours. I started calling at 5 AM and got no answer, then went down three times to tell the receptionist. He was asleep and seemed drunk. The water finally came at 10 AM. People were smoking ganja in rooms with loud music, and when I complained, the receptionist said that everything was allowed there. The area felt very bad and scary, and I didn’t think it was safe for a family. The hotel doors and room’s main lock were broken, so you couldn’t secure the room. I had prepaid, but at about 9 at night, while I was with my family, they demanded another 500 rupees and said they wouldn’t let me check in unless I paid. I paid. Don’t go there.

The room and the surrounding area were both awful. The people were unprofessional, used inappropriate language, and charged unnecessary money. Nobody should stay here. It was a very bad experience.

This place wasn’t suitable for families. The hotel is unfinished and has no lift, and my assigned room had neither ventilation nor AC. There was a large lizard in the bathroom. We booked it with help from the OYO call helpline, complained to OYO, and checked out within 20 minutes.
