At checkout, they wanted me to leave the rating myself, which explains the high scores, I guess. I’m giving one star because I’d already booked a room and they still demanded another 800, saying I had to book one more or they wouldn’t give me a room. The area wasn’t good, and the blanket was dirty. You can decide for yourself.

The food was poor, and they added a 10% service charge. Since outside food wasn’t allowed, I ordered from their menu, but the quality didn’t match the hotel prices. My washroom still hadn’t been cleaned when I came back in the evening. I’d left that morning for work and handed over the keys so they could move me to another room and clean it. I’d booked two days because my train was late. The owner asked for a 250/- token, and when I asked to pay the full amount through the OYO app, he refused, so I transferred 250 RS. At 2am, when I got to the hotel in Lucknow, the receptionist wanted another 500/-. He said it was for a deluxe room. I’d booked a normal room, but he said they’d given that one to someone else. After 15 minutes of arguing, they moved me to a deluxe room and said they’d switch me back in the morning. The room was dirty, the blanket hadn’t been cleaned, the washroom was dirty, and there wasn’t even drinking water. When I checked out the next morning, the receptionist asked me to open the OYO app. He wanted a rating. I said no, then he told the owner, who asked about it too. The receptionist said I’d told him I’d do it later.

The rooms are very small and not enough for a family. During check-in, a staff member came into the bathroom and put tape on the gysor board. They were also asking for an extra rs.200 for gysor. I’d booked for 7 to 8 feb, but the owner checked me out on 7 feb without telling me. When I got there at about 9 PM on 7th feb., he kept pushing me to give a good rating. I refused and said, "mai Oyo se baat krta hu". He replied, "thik hai aap baat kar lijiye aur hotel se bhi nikal jaiye". The service was not good, and he bothered me.

The rooms are just okay, and the washrooms are below average. The classic room starts at 800 rupees and isn’t too bad; deluxe rooms cost 1400-1500. Even if you book through Oyo or another app, they won’t let you check in until you pay their basic amount of 800 rupees. I wouldn’t book through an app.
